This is either R. basalis or valida
R. basalis, R. valida
At this point I am unsure whether the species I kept many years ago was R. basalis or R. valida. They are very similar. The species I keep now was sold to me as R. valida. Either way, I am unaware of the difference between the species, so I will have both of them listed here.
This is a very fun mantid to keep. It is pretty fast and active, and they get very big. Enjoy the pics below.
