Praying mantids and feeder insects!
Idolomantis nymphs will be ready in a couple of weeks. As always, I will do a presale for those that want to order early at a reduced price. Keep in mind that they estimated shipping date could be delayed a few days to a week. I will only ship once they are L2 and eating. There will be a limited number for presale.
I will have more orchids, majuscula, and budwings soon as well.
Orchids have finally started to hatch. Much larger hatches than previous ones so hopefully everyone is able to get some. H. venosa (Golden), H. majuscula, ghosts, and S. pretiosa also have hatched.
Added Chlidonopter, Hestiasula, Rhombodera, and Sphodromantis nymphs. Orchids due to hatch any day, as well as pretiosa.
Most of those species will not be ready to be shipped until May 6th. I have given a small price break as usual for early orders (due to the wait), but the discounts will be removed on May 1st. If other species hatch before your order is shipped, you can add to an existing order by emailing me and requesting an invoice, or simply order from the website and add a note to combine your orders. I will refund the extra shipping charge.
Orchid ooth hatched. Smaller hatch but nymphs will be available in about a week or so. I will also post the last Idolomantis nyhmphs for sale here shortly. They will be ready to ship in a week to 10 days or so. Boxer nymphs will also be ready in a week to 10 days as well as lobata.
Idolomantis nymphs available. Also added Theopropus elegans species. Orchids have hatched and will be available in a week or so once they start shedding, as well as more D. lobata nymphs.
So… yeah. One of the refrigerators I use to keep pupae died sometime in the last few days. I went to open it yesterday to grab some out and a good number of bluebottle flies came busting out. Thankfully they had either just hatched, or wings did not fold out properly due to the lack of airflow or something, so they just fell out and crawled. Very disappointing.
Needless to say, any orders containing housefly or bluebottle pupae will be delayed until Wednesday, assuming the new batches get here in time. I will be ordering some next day on Monday so hopefully they are here Tuesday, or early Wed. I will send out emails to all those affected.
First two groups of Idolomantis nymphs have been sold out for a few days now. I am waiting for the third group to fatten up a little before posting them. They are voracious so it should only be a day or 2.
